If your insurance is Oregon Health Plan (Jackson Care Connect or Allcare), we can bill directly to OHP, because we have midwives and THW doulas in our practice who are also OHP-providers.

For other health insurance companies, we are not in-network.

We work with a billing company that specializes in home birth and midwifery care.

Your insurance may or may not cover some, or all of your care. The billing company will only charge you for their services if they are able to bill your insurance. To find out if your insurance covers home birth, the biller can run a verification of benefits with your insurance company, this costs $35.

Clients who would like to use their health insurance to pay for their birth, will still need to pay our cash pay rate in full by 35 weeks of pregnancy (this does NOT apply to OHP clients, because we can bill OHP directly). Your insurance will then be billed for reimbursement by the billing company.
